History
Kairos Dance was founded in 1999 by Artistic Director Maria DuBois Genné. We are a nineteen-member dance company spanning four generations. Our performers range in age from six to ninety-one years old. Kairos is the only intergenerational modern dance company in Minnesota, and one of only a handful in the U.S.
Our Mission
Kairos Dance is an intergenerational dance company committed to sharing the joy of dance and unleashing its power to nurture and heal.
The Dancing Heart program improves flexibility, energy, balance, memory and socialization of older, frail adults through movement, dance and storytelling: Transforming lives through movement and story.
